Latest Stats...possibly the best for a while.

We've had the volt for nearly 3 weeks and now we're about to take it on a 320 mile drive tomorrow, so obviously we'll be burning through some fossil fuels.  I wanted to post our latest stats before they go downhill after the weekend. Currently 933 miles and only 2.1 gallons of gas have been used which is more than we expected, the electricity we've used I don't have a total from my kilowatt unit, but the volt stats rate it about about $36 of electricity used, although I've been able to charge on some public charge stations, at the dealer having work done, etc. so really I've spent probably less than $30 on electricity so far....getting a little "mathy" here, but that's equivalent to about 8 gallons of gas in cost, so we went for 933 miles for the cost of 10 gallons of gas without actually having to burn 8 of those gallons...make sense?  Anyway, the picture speaks for itself, the next post after our trip will probably have a lot more gallons of gas and bring our stats down considerably, so we'll have to make sure we get a lot of battery only miles in when we get back into town!  Hope everyone has a great Easter Weekend!
