I meant to post something Friday but just a crazy busy weekend. The status as of last week is that the local service department spent time on the phone with the Volt engineers trying to determine what the problem is. By Thursday they had determined that a Volt Engineer would be needed onsite at the local dealership. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it's something anyway.
So far the loaner demo traveling billboard white volt has been doing just fine, I don't think we've used any gas in the last week, we actually squeezed nearly 46 battery only miles out of it on Wednesday when we had an offsite meeting and that was with tires slightly under-inflated.
Whether ours is in the shop or not we still like the volt and we understand that with new technology there come new problems, we just hope we don't have to start calling ours a "yellow sour fruit".
Hopefully I'll have better news about our sporty red one sometime this week.
